Magdalena “Meggie” Urban

Founder of Urban Law Firm, LLC, concentrates primarily in family, matrimonial and paternity law, representing clients in divorce, parentage, allocation of parental responsibilities (formerly known as custody), allocation of parenting time (formerly known as visitation), identification and division of marital and non-marital property, allocation of debts, and maintenance (formerly known as alimony) matters.  Meggie is recognized by her client's and peers as an experienced, compassionate, efficient, aggressive, passionate and trustworthy advocate for her clients.  She represents clients diligently from pre-litigation planning through and including settlement and/or Trial.

Born and raised in Poland, Meggie moved with her family to Illinois in  1996.  She is fluent in Polish and English.  Meggie in her free time, enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. 

Meggie practices in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will, Boone, and Winnebago Counties, State of Illinois. 

Meggie was the Vice-Chair of the Family Law Section for the American Association for Justice (formerly, Association of Trial Lawyers of America) and previously served as Chair during 2015/2016.

Meggie was a partner at a prestigious law firm in the Chicagoland area.
